Storage:

We can store most item(s) for you for up to 90 days until you, your agent or shipping company can pick it/them up during our normal hours at our live store (free). If items stay here longer than 6 months, without communication from the buyer, we may consider it abandoned. At that point we may liquidate to cover storage expenses.

Delivery:

We sometimes deliver loads of furniture in our box truck, mostly loads of many pieces of high value (thousands). Sometimes customers make “piles” to be stored together & delivered/shipped all at once to save the customer money. We prefer that local people, buying smaller loads, find a way to transport item(s). We are happy to help load your vehicle. Of course if you need more help, just ask. Most local deliveries cost $50 - $100 depending on a number of variables. If this seems high to you, maybe you could have a friend or relative with a pickup truck that could help for less. Sometimes we simply don’t have enough hours in our days to do deliveries so please don’t assume that we’ll deliver without asking.

Shipping:

If you live in another part of the country & don’t have your own shipper, we can recommend one to you.
There are 3 companies people have used to transport our items & all have proven to be careful & dependable.

• www.tscmoving.com ~ They cover the eastern half of the US. They pick up furniture here &, blanket wrap it & deliver to you. They tend to charge $100 - $200 for a single piece of furniture & it isn't a lot more for multiple pieces.
• Tim Worley at ebay@shippingstoreandmore.com~ We deliver items to him free of charge, he packages them & ships them throughout the country via Fedex freight etc. His charges including packaging & freight tend to start at $100, then it depends on size & distance.
• Royce Meyers. 719-244-1755 or 719-478-2213 myerstrucking22@aol.com ~ Is a nice guy with a big trailer he'll deliver anywhere in the continental US. Prices start at $100 & obviously, you will do better with multiple pieces & it will depend how fast you need the item & whether he can combine your shipment with other shipments.

You can arrange transportation that best suits your needs and your budget. The shipper will need to know the measurements & weight of the item(s). Please arrange for shipping before purchasing the item(s) from us. While we like these guys & they have been dependable & careful, sometimes stuff happens. If you have a negative experience, please work it out with your shipper. Also, let us know, but please don't hold us responsible because we have made a conscious decision to not be in the shipping business, not enough hours in the day.

Refunds:

As always, if you make a purchase over the internet & then come to pick it up at our live store & don’t like an item for any reason, you would receive a friendly refund. If you receive a purchase (delivery) and are not happy with it for any reason, we will also offer a friendly refund of the item cost, not to include any shipping cost. The item would have to be returned to our store (your cost) in the same condition as it was sent, within 1 week. If something happens to your item(s) in transport (lose or damage), that will be between you and your packer/shipper/insurer. In this case, generally, the shipper helps the purchaser file for an insurance claim.
